The premise is that, due to some temporal shenanigans, you and seven other players have been dragged into a place out of time. What I got was a surprisingly deep asymmetric multiplayer outing with so much going on that I was pushed to experience it all in the beta’s meager two-hour chunks.

Customisation is varied and you get to upgrade your hero to have some fantastic abilities as the game progresses, but if you’re not a fan of the series, it may be difficult to follow all of the game’s story threads.
